Siemens SINAMICS G120

The Siemens SINAMICS G120 is a modular VFD system consisting of a Control Unit (CU) and a Power Module (PM), covering a power range from 0.37 kW to 250 kW. Its modular architecture allows independent selection of control intelligence and power stage, simplifying spare parts inventory and enabling field upgrades. The G120 supports V/f, vector, and servo control modes for asynchronous and synchronous motors, including permanent magnet motors for maximum energy efficiency. Integrated Safety Integrated functions (STO, SS1, SLS, SSM certified to SIL 3) eliminate the need for external safety relays. The drive integrates seamlessly into Siemens TIA Portal for unified engineering alongside S7-1500 PLCs and SIMATIC HMIs.
